Fear of the Lord and Repentance hits church in Massachusetts!

We just returned from our trip to Worcester, Massachusetts where we conducted revival meetings and Power evangelism training. Friday night was all about Arousing the Warriors to Prepare for War! The altars were full of saints that were consecrating themselves to the Lord's Army! The body is coming the place that we realize we have been crucified with Christ and that to disciple nations we can no longer allow the love of money, pleasure, and ourselves to dominate our life! The saints are hot with love for the Lord which means to obey Him, love for each other which means to lift up, forgive, and help, and love for the lost which means to befriend them, and preach the gospel which comes with a kingdom!

Saturday we did a full day of training the saints in Power Evangelism and the purpose of Pentecost! We then went into the city of Worcester in the rain and preached the gospel! We had some people repent and call on the Lord, some spewed angry remarks of ignorance, some wanted to sleep with their sin, and others were seriously seeking truth. We preached the gospel to a young man named Jose who wanted to call on the Lord. Right in the streets of Worcester in the rain, he asked the Lord to forgive Him and help him be a follower while we stood and witnessed a true conversion! We also preached the gospel to 3 young muslims who asked what about Muhammad and what about allah! The youngest said he wanted to be a follower of Jesus after we explained their need for a savior and that only Jesus fits that bill! This is a movement! It's an army of laid down lovers going out into the sea of lost humanity!

Sunday morning was quite unusual! The Holy Spirit really led me to preach on holiness, repentance, and the Fear of the Lord with a fresh boldness! The altars were packed without any manipulation and we are already getting testimonies of people's lives that are shook up over their fear of sin! (Acts 24:25) We also had some great testimonies of healing such as a lady that had cronic neck pain with crunching for 6 years that was instantly healed by the power of God! Another man with a cane could not lay down without pain and he laid in front of the congregation, pain free. Many people with broken lives and broken hearts received a touch from the Lord! Praise God!

Our Hope Is In the Lord!

I just received this message by email from my good friend, Pastor Russell Benson who pastors our Covenant Community Fellowship church in Indiana. It is about the elections yesterday and I thought it worth posting. Our hope is in the Lord (By Pastor Russell Benson)

As I write this, Sen. Barack Obama is being declared the winner of the 2008 U.S. presidential election. We have heard that this was the most historic and important presidential election of our time. Whether it was the most important election or not, one thing is for sure, it certainly will have a profound effect on the future of our nation! I know many of you reading this are disappointed at the results of the election. The decision that America has made can potentially have a deep and profound effect on issues like the sanctity of marriage, freedom of religion, abortion, and many other issues that we as Christians are so concerned about. It is easy to get discouraged about the future of our nation. What will happen? How about the Supreme Court? Abortion, etc…

I feel impressed at this time to direct us to the true Hope, the true answer. There is only one hope for our nation and he is not the president of the United States. We know as Christians that our hope is in the LORD. We should not expect to have any real hope outside the Lord Jesus Christ. The answers for America do not lie in Washington or in a political party. The only hope for America and the entire world is Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that it is Christ in us, the hope of Glory. Despite the political speeches, it is the church that is the city shining on a hill, not Washington D.C. The church is called the Salt of the earth. We hold the answers for this nation and this world. We must remind ourselves in this time that no matter what comes our way, no matter what is ahead, we can stand strong in faith. We do not need to let up or waver despite the darkness of the situation.

We will not be shaken and we will not be moved. Now is the time for the church of Jesus Christ to stand stronger than ever. We must stand for righteousness and holiness no matter what comes our way. We cannot be surprised when the majority of people around us reject holiness and reject the ways of the Lord. We cannot be surprised when they embrace a culture of death. We are not to be taken off guard, but we will be motivated even more to pray, even more to stand out in the darkness. We will let our light shine in a dark world, we must! Friend, we must shine in the darkness. Church, we are not to be shaken but we are to understand the times and seasons we are in. We are to discern what the Spirit of the Lord is speaking to the Church of Jesus Christ. Now it is time to get our marching orders and press forward. The body of Christ must prepare for what is ahead for us. We must be the voice crying in the wilderness Prepare the way of the Lord. It is not the church that is a reflection of the world, but the world is a reflection of the church. This is why judgment begins in the house of the Lord. We must be the church, God has called us to be and in turn America will be effected by the church. In these sober and prophetic times, now is the time for the church of Jesus Christ to rise up in true holiness, Holy Spirit power, and boldness. Get ready, now is our time to shine!

Calling all Citytakers!!!!!

Troops are assembling in South Florida!

We just got back from a great Power Evangelism Conference in Lake Worth, Florida. We trained the saints in zeal, boldness, and power to be missionaries in the affluent West Palm Beach area. Jesus wants to and can save the rich too! Someone needs to bring this harvest in and the troops are assembling. We had a lady delivered as she said she felt something black in her leave and and another lady was healed in the training of a pinched nerve. We then went out into the city being not only hearers of the word but doers! 25 of us went to nursing home and lady who had a stroke asked with broken speech and a broken heart for Jesus to forgive her. We then prayed for the affects of the stroke to be reversed and after prayer she said clearly, " Thank you for praying for me. I feel much better!" We were amazed at how clear she could speak! Glory! We then went to Walmart and you could see saints preaching the gospel and ministering healing all over! An ambulance pulled up to the Walmart because a lady had something fall on her in the store. They had her arm in a splint and the EMTs were about to lay her on the stretcher. We asked if we could pray and the lady said yes. We commanded the pain to leave and she said she felt much better right in from of the EMTs. We have heard that there were at least 13 salvations. As you know, we dont preach a mickey mouse bubble gum gosple either. Sin, judgement, the cross, the resurrection, repentance, faith, and spiritual growth. God is raising up a radical army to bring revival, power evangelism and transformation to the land!

The Go of the Gospel!

Today we took a team to the University of South Florida(USF) and preached the gospel open air and one on one! As you can see we had a crowd of about 75-100 students and the hundreds that walked by that heard the bold declaration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We told them they had a vote or decision to make that was even more important than John McCain or Barack Obama.(Joe Biden had a rally at the campus today so this was an even hotter topic) There were many muslims, nominal christians, atheists, and many more in the crowd! We had a man who was a seeker who had some good questions that we met up with at the restaurant and we talked even further with him about the Truth. We had teams preaching one on one as I preached to the crowd! Students attentively sat there listening to the gospel for 90 minutes as we reasoned through some questions they had! (Acts 17:2) Christians came up to us afterward and thanked us and I trust the Lord is emboldening them to share the gospel as they watched us unashamably opening our mouth with the gospel which is the power of God unto salvation. It's Paul who plants, Apollos who waters, but God who gives the increase(I Cor 3:6)! It's time to come out of the closet and go with the gospel to the sick who need a doctor instead of waiting for them to come to us!

Lady with damaged Retina Sees!

We had another awesome night at Ignited Church in Lakeland, Fl, the starting point of the Florida Outpouring. The moment the service was given over to us we started going after healing. We had a man that had been in a car accident whose back and neck had mobility he hadn't had in years with conformation from his wife. Another lady had an ankle with arthritis and she could stand on it with no pain which she was not able to do for quite a while. A little girl who had been struggling with asthma said she felt God come and take something away and give her a new life. She could breathe with ease! Hallelejuah! The highlight was a lady who had a damaged retina that caused white bloches in her vision who was completely healed and she could see perfect! We also got an email when we got home that a lady watching on the internet could see 50% better as she was able to read her notes without her glases! Thank you Lord that the blind see! We ended the night with saints hand in hand in the altar praying to know Him intimately and make Him known passionately! It's time for a hospital clearing, Wall Street shaking, Silicon Valley moving, White House invading Awakening that sweeps the land. Come on Citytakers! Let's win souls and make disciples!

Saints Tending the Flame

What a priveledge to be back to Ignited Church in Lakeland where the Florida Outpouring that touched the world began. This is where we have done all the Power Evangelism training over the last 5 months where we have seen around 13,000 saints from 40 different nations trained in New Testament evangelism. Last night, we ministered on Keeping the Flame and the altars were full of hungry believers wanting to be hot for Him. The soundman testified of being instantly healed of Broncitis and we had a man with scoliosis for around 20 years say all the pain was gone and he had complete flexibility.
